The main Streamen layout is clear and uncluttered, with an option to select categories as well as basic account functions. There are more categories than you can shake a, ahem, stick at, so you won’t be disappointed by the choice. The live sex cams with the live performers are front and centre, which makes for ease of navigation when you’re in a rush (we’ve all been there), and Streamen very much looks the part– clean, professional, well-designed, and incredibly tempting. As you access the home page, you are previewed with top free cams, hottest cam guys and hard on atmosphere.

Streamen will ask you to load a credit or debit card onto your account when you register a “free” account. The card will not be charged unless you expressly authorise it to be used for chats, but the need for a card just to have an account is unusual, and Streamen may wish to change this in future to keep pace with the rest of the industry. Without the registration you will have a free cam preview, but that is about it.

Camera quality is excellent on Streamen, which is good news given the range of drool-worthy men on offer. The availability of HD depends on the performer, but it’s widely available, so if you spot a lush delight you can’t wait to feast your eyes on, you’re not going to be disappointed with the view. Oh, because Streamen guys probably have HD cameras — what else did you think we meant?

There’s a wide variety of performers on Streamen, all of which can be filtered using one of the many category tabs. However, compared to the live sex cam girls, the options are rather limited: there’s 65 performers in the “Gay” category, but the options become more limited for filters such as BDSM (13), “Bears” (12), and poor “Guy Next Door” has no listed performers at all. However, it is a good diversity for a rather new and tight market. So while there are options on Streamen, they are more limited in volume than many sex cam sites, but the guys that are available are worth it– we had a hard time dragging our eyes away to compile this Streamen review if we’re honest.

The costs of Streamen are pretty simple, and there’s no need to buy credits or tokens as there is with other sites.
- Most live shows cost $1.99 – $2.99 (£1.40 – £2.18) per minute. Some less expensive performers are available, but you’ll need to click around to find them.
- If you so wish to do so, you can buy ‘Gold’; credits that can be used for special Gold Shows. Gold equates exactly to the currency you are purchasing in; 1 Gold = £1 / $1 / €1, etc. Delighting in a twink who does everything you ever dreamed? Enchanted by a bear who seems to have a direct route to your every dark impulse? Give them a tip using this system.
The costs on Streamen are upfront rather than obscured by a credit system, which is beneficial but does mean you miss out on special bonus amounts for large purchases.
